Referrals?

RNs on staff are trained to offer information and support to clients with an unexpected pregnancy.  Ongoing medical care for pregnancy is beyond the scope of registered nurses; therefore, each client is advised to see a primary care provider such as a nurse practitioner or doctor following their appointment.

Emergency Medical Care?

Clients who are experiencing a medical emergency — including conditions such as suspected ectopic pregnancy — require immediate assessment in a hospital setting. Emergency medical care is outside the scope of our clinic.

We will ensure clients are directed promptly to the Royal Inland Hospital Emergency Department for urgent evaluation and treatment.
